One of life’s wonderful things is definitely the friendships you make along the way. The people God placed in your path to share in life’s triumphs and sorrows. For our family, I can’t think of a friendship that we treasure as much as the one we have with the Tantras. So to say that this was a precious shoot for me is an understatement. Without further ado, meet little Caleb, a treasured addition to the Tantra’s family. He’s already quite the thinker, like his dad!

Today I had the wonderful opportunity to meet Katherine and Matt for the first time – they drove up all the way from Maryland to go to Lady Antebellum’s concert this weekend, so we decided to do their engagement session as well. Katherine and Matt met through double blind date 6 ago, and they have been together ever since! What’s great is that apparently the other couple in that blind date is also engaged now! Talk about a blind date success story!

When I first met Terica, we joked that we might have to do our engagement session in the snow because January was when Dan was scheduled to be home from overseas. I think I laughed when I saw the forecast for our scheduled shoot when I saw that it was indeed going to be one of the very few snow we’ve had this winter so far! I called Terica and she was still up for it, so off we went!

Emily + Seth at Riverdale Manor

Our 2012 started with a bang with Emily and Seth’s awesome wedding at one of my favorite place to shoot, Riverdale Manor. A couple of weeks before the wedding I was still crossing my finger that the incredibly warm winter we had so far would hold up for their big day. Well, the day came and it was definitely winter in all it’s glory. But no matter, Emily & Seth braved the cold like it was a hot summer day!

I’ve always believed that the day I lose the desire to learn from others would be the day I drop whatever it is, and pick up something else I was passionate about. This past November I had the most awesome privilege to hang out with 40+ photographers from all around the world, many of whom I have become close friends with, through the Genesis Workshop. The Cusumanos

I have the honor of being the Cusumano’s unofficial family photographer of sorts.. Starting when Jayden was just born a couple of years ago and also their family shoot last fall. This year we went to Lititz Spring Park again and got shots of little Jayden running around the park. It is amazing to see Jayden grows and it’s also fun to see how my photography evolves in the past couple of years alone! Here are some of my favorites from the session.

Robyn + Dave in Reading

I always encourage my clients to make the E-Session about them. Both Robyn and Dave love Chocolate. They also love their puppy Hoagie. So for their E-Session they incorporate both. The first location was their favorite place, the awesome Haute Chocolate Cafe. That place has everything Chocolate known to man, and I’d be lying if I wasn’t distracted by all the yummy goodness. After that we went to a park nearby and got some shots with Hoagie as well. Check out that awesome sunset sky by the way!
