If someone would ask me whether I always knew, whether deep down inside of me there was always that still, small voice, telling me that one day I would spend my weekends hanging out with the coolest couples I barely even know, and capturing the most intimate moments on the most important day of their lives, the answer is of course not!  What started as a random hobby a few years ago has taken me to places I would never have been otherwise, connected me to some of the most fun-loving, caring, and amazing people I have ever met, and brought me so much joy and adventure. This is beyond my wildest dream.

Think about it. Your wedding day is one of the major milestones in your life. And you’re inviting this stranger over to be your personal paparazzi for the day. To capture everything.   The first time your husband-to-be see you in your dress. The moment your father gives you away and kiss you one last time. The moment your ringbearer has a meltdown.  The awkward family dynamics.  You better darn sure you really like this guy, right?

I understand that. I understand the weight of it.  I understand that you are nervous and really want to be sure that I’m the photographer you are looking for. So here are some things about me and my photography.

About Me

I grew up in Indonesia. I love to travel and see the world. I am a Christian and my faith is essential to who I am. I am blessed with a wonderful wife and a son, and another one on the way. I’m 5’11″ but I often round up and tell people I’m 6′. For an Asian, that’s pretty tall, but it doesn’t prevent me from sucking at basketball. I have a degree in Computer Science and I love all things geeky. My favorite TV show is LOST, but since it’s all over now  (which I’m still depressed about) I guess I’d settle for Breaking Bad. I love music, and my favorite band is Coldplay. I play the piano, drums, and guitar. I love noodles. Especially Chow Fun. But I’ll eat pretty much any pasta.

I’m pretty laid back and love to have fun. One of my favorite things about being a photographer is definitely the friendships that come out of it.

About My Photography

So this photography thing. Yes. I shot my first wedding in 2007. I love to take awesome, creative, and fun pictures of you. I love it when the bride and groom have some fun and show their personalities in front of the camera. I love bold colors and designs, and try to incorporate them into my photography.  I always challenge myself to see things with a fresh perspective.

I am available for weddings all across the United States.
