What matters most in a wedding day? Is it the dress? The cake? The kiss? The rings? Depending on who you are, everyone probably has a different answer to the question. This one photographer happens to believe that the thing that matters most in your wedding day that you are spending the most important day in your life with the ones you love.
It’s the laughter, the tears, the smiles, hugs, and kisses. It’s the father walking her daughter down the aisle. It’s heartfelt exchange of the vows. These are private moments that the bride and groom choose to share with the closest family and friends. As a photographer I take my job really seriously because I feel like I’ve been given a super important responsibility to preserve this very special memories in the best way I see them, and it’s exactly why I love what I do.
Steve & Megan had the wonderful opportunity to get married in the place that started it all for them – Elizabethtown College. I thought this was really cool – they could have gotten married anywhere else, but instead they decided to get married in a place that mattered to them. Both were selfless in their services to the community and those in need, and it’s really fitting that their engagement happened after their trip to Puerto Rico.
