November1st

There’s just something magical between 2 people who are in love and I consider it a great honor to capture these emotions time after time. Liz & Wes’ session today reminded me again why I love photographing couples.

By the way, I am so glad that we decided to give this a go today – after rescheduling this from 2 weeks ago due to U-G-L-Y weather, I ignored the ‘slight chance of rain’ part of the forecast and off we go for our session :)

Wes & Liz are the kind of couple that makes my job so much easier and more fun. They are just so much fun to hang out with, are blatantly in love with one another, and are completely natural in front of the camera (which they claimed they’ve been working hard on!) Most of these shots are not posed by me – they came up with the pose themselves! All I have to do was directing where to stand and they made it happen. How cool is that??

First we met at Steinman Park for our first location. Liz was disappointed that the fountain area is locked… but we still get some great shots:

Can you tell that it’s ‘Fall’ ??

After the park, we walked over to the Central Market to get a few more shots. While we’re walking there I told them that they are so easy to work with, and Wes basically said.. “You tell us what to do, we’ll do it.” More of that in a moment… ;)

I always tell the couple that they should act like how they normally would as much as possible… and Liz took me up on that immediately:

We then walked toward the Lancaster Convention Center and get some more shots en-route..

The camera loves Liz.. yes it does.

And even this crazy-cool wall!

Remember what I wrote above about them willing to do anything? This is proof.

THEY MADE OUT ON TOP OF A SQUAD CAR. Doesn’t get any more awesome than that.

After that we went to a secluded alleyway that Liz noticed on the way to the shoot. I LOVE IT WHEN MY CLIENTS SUGGEST A PLACE. And it turned out to be a pretty darn awesome place too.

Liz, you hear it here first, you’re going to be one gorgeous bride.

So much that Wes couldn’t help but to join in the scene..

On the way back to the car, we walked by a demonstration for PEACE. Couldn’t pass it up..

And yes, I LOVE fall. Everything is so pretty.

And what better way to wrap up an awesome session than by standing in the middle of the road?

Thanks again for being so awesome guys, I’m looking forward to your wedding in March!
